What are your shipping and handling charges?

We ship by priority mail We only ship by priority mail (or International Priority if you are not in the US) because other methods are slower and less reliable. If you accidentally charge yourself the wrong amount, we will amend it at this end.  For those using International Priority, one yard of quilt fabric weighs approximately 4 oz.  One pound of quilt fabric is about 4 yards.

What is the pattern shipping option?

Patterns (and other small, flat items) are the exception to the rule. Those we just put in an envelope and mail, so we only charge a $1.50 shipping and handling charge, if you are in the United States. First Class package mail tends to be a bit slow, so if you are in a hurry for the pattern, choose Priority.    If you are in Canada, we will ship patterns by air mail but the delivery charge increases to $5.75.

I am a member of the military - how can I get free shipping?

As long as you are using a military address, we will not charge you shipping.  Now, our shopping cart *WILL* charge you shipping as it doesn't recognize these addresses, but don't worry.  We will fix it at this end.  Just to be safe, you might want to mention the fact you are military in the "special comments" section.
