Neighborhood Garden Mystery

Neighborhood Garden Quilt Mystery

Let's look to the spring!  Find your favorite floral fabric and feature it in the blocks and border of this small quilt.  This is a traditionally pieced quilt, with only one or two little tricks:-)) I found the inspiration for it in the tile of my bathroom floor.

Directions are given for a 40" x 48" crib quilt, but can easily be made bigger 48" x 48" using the same fabric requirements.  If you would like a 48" x 56" or 56" x 56" quilt, add the optional outer border.

WOF means Width of Fabric. A 1/4" seam is assumed. A QIAD fussy cut trio ruler set will be very helpful if you are fussy cutting the center of your blocks.

This quilt pattern is down available as a digital download.

Send me your pictures!  You can send them to krisdriessen@yahoo.com, or post them to Facebook. Either way I will smile happily and post them here.  Be sure to click on the picture thumbnail to see them up close.

This is my sample of the smaller size, already quilted.  I will be putting on a brown binding to match the flange

Neighborhood Garden Quilt Mystery

This is my sample of the larger size.  I'm not thrilled with the deep blue, but I think a blue binding will help.
