Stars in My Eyes

This lovely 70" x 70" lap quilt is designed so you can place 6 1/2” square photos on fabric or other focus fabric in the center of each of the stars. If you have an embroidery machine, here is a chance to use a special design! This mystery uses a special technique to create the sparkle in the stars. Before beginning this or any other project, wash and press your fabric. If you like the behavior of crisp fabric as you cut, sew and press your project, try a little Best Press when you iron it. Take the time to clean your machine a, put in a new needle and fill a few bobbins. It will save you time later.
Read over the pattern before beginning. Cross off the colors used in the diagram and write in your chosen colors. Unless the pattern tells you otherwise, you should always assume that the seam in any quilting pattern is 1/4” wide.

A copyright protects an authors interests by giving them the exclusive right to control the reproduction of that work. Copyright infringement occurs when a person copies someone else's copyrighted item without permission. You can photocopy a pattern, magazine or book so you don't ruin the original but not to give to a friend so she doesn't have to buy one. It doesn't matter if you do not charge for the copy. This applies to “free” patterns as well. Many designers offer free patterns to publicize their work, promote a line of fabric, or induce potential customers to visit their website. Unless the designer has specifically released the copyright, it remains protected by the copyright laws.
The copyright for this pattern allows you to make one copy of this pattern for your personal use only. You may not copy this pattern and give it or teach it to others without the purchase of a pattern for each person. All rights are reserved.
